Flexit ProNordic S140R is a commercial air handling unit with a rotary heat exchanger, designed for commercial buildings in demanding Nordic climatic conditions. With a nominal airflow of 1 365 m³/h at 200 Pa and a circular Ø250 mm duct connection, it covers ventilation for apartment buildings, schools, office buildings, retail spaces and fitness centres. The unit is energy-efficient and quiet thanks to EC fans with radial B-wheels (2×500 W). The Siemens Climatix CS2500 control system with Modbus TCP/IP or RTU communication ensures easy integration into building management systems (BMS). Supplied as a right-hand variant, easily convertible to left-hand using a DIP switch directly on site.

Siemens Climatix CS2500 control system
Integrated control system with constant airflow or 3-speed regulation. Modbus TCP/IP or RTU communication for connection to building management systems (BMS). ProPanel (push-button) or ProTouch (touch-screen display, Android) control panel available as an accessory. Time programmes (max. 4/day) and filter alarm based on pressure differential.
Flexible design — impossible to order wrong
Supplied as a right-hand variant available in both 230 V and 400 V. Conversion to left-hand is done directly on site using a DIP switch. The heating coil (electric 3 600 W or water) is installed on site. This flexibility eliminates the risk of ordering the wrong variant and saves costs when project changes occur.

With a nominal airflow of 1 365 m³/h (379 l/s) at 200 Pa, the ProNordic S140R is ideal for collective ventilation of apartment buildings, school facilities, retail spaces, fitness centres and medium-sized office buildings. A single unit ensures quality air for the entire building.
Robust construction for technical rooms
Double-walled panels with a thickness of 50 mm without thermal bridges ensure excellent thermal insulation. Thoughtful component placement facilitates installation and servicing. High-quality ePM1 55 % (F7) filtration on both supply and extract air captures fine dust and pollen.
Easy installation and servicing
ProNordic S140R is designed with a focus on efficient installation and maintenance. All air connections are located on the top of the unit (circular Ø250 mm connection), which simplifies ductwork routing.
The unit can be disassembled into individual modules — rotor module (38 kg), fans (2×11 kg) and doors — reducing the net weight for transport to 125 kg. Compact dimensions allow the unit to be carried through a 70 cm doorway.
Automatic bypass provides free cooling during transitional periods. Filter alarm based on pressure differential alerts when filter replacement is needed.
ProNordic is primarily installed indoors — in a technical room, AHU plant room or ceiling void within the building. The unit must be placed in a dry location protected from the weather.
ProPanel and ProTouch — two control options
ProPanel is a standard push-button control panel for basic operation and unit status overview. Suitable where simple control without advanced settings is sufficient.
ProTouch is a Siemens touch-screen panel (Android) with an application for local connection to the unit. It offers extended settings, visualisation of operating parameters and alarm history. Both panels are supplied separately as accessories.

ProNordic S140R vs S100R — which model to choose?
ProNordic S140R delivers a nominal airflow of 1 365 m³/h at 200 Pa (max. 1 555 m³/h) and is ideal for medium-sized commercial spaces — apartment buildings with 20–40 units, schools with 10–20 classrooms, medium-sized offices.
For smaller buildings requiring lower airflow, consider ProNordic S100R (max. 1 275 m³/h). For larger spaces, ProNordic S180R (max. 1 800 m³/h) or ProNordic S220R (max. 2 400 m³/h) are available. The full ProNordic range includes 14 models with airflows from 780 to 6 000 m³/h in S (top connection) and L (side connection) variants.
