Why a rotary heat exchanger?
Unlike plate heat exchangers, a rotary (enthalpy) heat exchanger delivers higher heat recovery efficiency in cold climates. In summer, the unit pre-cools incoming air; in winter, it recaptures warmth from the exhaust air.
